Mary is the Regional Director of Health Services for Tuscan Gardens Senior Living. Mary is responsible for the direction and oversight of all clinical aspects including subject matter expertise, training, leadership, compliance with State and County regulation, as well as federal when necessary, review and implementation of company standard clinical operating procedures, risk management, quality assurance and prevention programs.
Before joining Tuscan Gardens, Mary was a District Director of Clinical Services for the industry’s largest provider, Brookdale Senior Living. Mary traveled throughout Florida overseeing several districts during her time with Brookdale. These districts held multiple facilities (average 12 to 14) which she visited quarterly and were comprised of Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living. Mary worked collaboratively with District Directors of Operations and District Directors of Sales to support, mentor and coach facilities to reach financial, census and clinical goals and remain in compliance.
Mary’s diversified background encompasses hospital, academia, research, legal, public speaking long term care and assisted living. Mary has successfully worked for all sized companies both privately owned and national chains and has had regional responsibilities that reached across the country. Mary’s passion and purpose lie in both the Clinical and Performance Improvement/Quality Assurance areas. She develops solutions to problems/concerns which improve the joy and quality of life for residents.
Mary earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. She also received a Master of Science in Nursing and a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Primary Healthcare of Adults from Seton Hall University.
