Kevin Bessolo, AIA Tuscan Gardens Architect

Kevin has over 26 years of assisted living design experience. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan, Kevin embarked on a design career focused on skilled nursing, memory care and assisted living facilities.

Kevin has established an enviable reputation in the industry as a pioneer of senior living facility design and has completed the design and construction of over 60 communities in the states of Florida, Georgia, Arkansas and South Carolina.

Kevin is a registered architect in the states of Florida, Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Arkansas. He is NCARB certified in all those states and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He is also a member of SAGE, the Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments.

Lisa M. Cini Design & Functionality Specialist

Lisa is the Founder, President and CEO of Mosaic Design Studio, an award-winning global commercial design, project management and procurement company that specializes in design projects related to senior living, independent care communities, healthcare, corporate office space and hospitality.

Lisa has a decade-plus history servicing some of the largest senior living operations in the country. Lisa is regarded as the leading Alzheimer’s and long-term care design expert in the nation and has received many design awards for her projects throughout the years. She also writes regularly for Long-Term Living Magazine and ReitrementHomes.com.

Fundamentally, Lisa’s success is due to her never-ending desire to learn from the best and become an industry changer. She has redefined the field of interior architecture and increased the impact the client’s environment has on meeting its mission, vision and values. HJ Sims provided bond financing services for the development of our Tuscan Gardens® Communities. Their team includes bankers who have served on numerous advisory boards of several of the largest senior living companies and the Interest Subsidy and Loan Guaranty programs of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Their bankers have also been directors of numerous nonprofit senior living boards and longtime participants on the Financial Advisory Panel of CARF-CCAC, the senior living accreditation organization. Atlantic American Opportunities Fund Institutional Equity Partner

Atlantic American Opportunities Fund provides capital for real estate development and redevelopment projects throughout the state of Florida, leveraging the EB-5 Program. With their stringent underwriting standards, they accept very few projects. Those accepted embody stable income and rock-solid security for their investors.

AAOF is focused on investing with reputable developers in stable projects that have a high likelihood for meeting the EB-5 Program’s job creation requirement. AAOF is managed by an experienced management team that has an extensive background in due diligence, underwriting and closing complex transactions. AAOF is an allocation fund that makes passive investments in a portfolio of projects. They do not get involved in the day-to-day development and operating decisions of projects.
