Director of Nursing

The Director of Nursing is responsible for developing and maintaining a strong and compassionate clinical team who strive to provide a life of purpose, passion, and joy to all of our residents. Our mission is to create an environment in which they can experience that on a daily basis. You will be responsible for providing support and guidance to a team of clinical professionals, provide emergency interventions as needed, and facilitate the appropriate plan of care for all of our residents. You will plan, organize, develop, direct and evaluate the clinical operation, ensuring the highest degree of quality patient care.  The Director of Nursing ensures our associates adhere to all applicable federal, state and local regulations.

If you have:

• A current and unencumbered Nursing license in the state of Florida (LPN/RN)
• Experience in nursing within an Assisted Living community
• The ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
• The ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals
• The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language
• The ability to respond to medical emergencies
• Excellent communication skills
• CPR certification
• Nursing/medical knowledge and application
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
• The ability to maintain the confidentiality of medical records
• Strong leadership skills
• Doctor’s statement verifying you are free from communicable disease
