The story that built Tuscan Gardens
Tuscan Gardens began the way many family journeys begin. With love, concern and the exhausting “revolving door” that so many families know too well. After Larry Pino’s father passed away, his mother lived on her own and did well for a time. Then a season came when she did not, and it became hospital, rehab, home, then back again. Larry brought in 24/7 care, and while her caregiver was wonderful, her world grew smaller. Social interaction faded. The heart of daily life faded with it.
Like countless families, Larry started searching for a place that felt right. A place he would truly trust for his mother. He could not find it. So he asked a different question: what would it need to look like for me to be willing to place my mom there? He sat down with paper and pen and started drawing it. Describing it. Imagining it.
That vision became Tuscan Gardens.
In this short video, you will see what Larry set out to create: not simply a senior living facility, but a true community built from the ground up around elegance, music, art and the daily experience of living well.
