“I did deep research into nine Assisted Living facilities in Venice, including one scheduled to open in Q3 2021, using a checklist of over 50 questions. Tuscan Gardens is far and away the best, for quality of care, value for the price, quality of apartments, overall facility, the works. The residents were all very social and likeable, not downtrodden and sullen. Staff equally so. Lovely place. Steve Barboe is a thoughtful guy, who is more interested in getting the right fit and a good transition experience than he is in selling units. In my opinion, Tuscan sells itself. He moved my parents into a local Senior Community a dozen years ago, and I was pleased to run into him at Tuscan. Be forewarned: There are some real dog AL facilities here-- weird "special" offers, people in wheelchairs unattended, unresponsive staff. Don't just ask questions, wander around and observe. Talk to the folks sitting out front waiting for a shuttle. Chat with a caregiver. Hope this saves you some time.

“My father was in the Memory Care Unit at Tuscan Gardens in Palm Coast for 10 months. I was pleased with the care he received there. For a long time, we were unable to visit him in person because of Covid, but they made accommodations for window visits, and even built a special see-through wall with protected arm holes to enable hugging. This installation was pure pleasure for my mother who was able to utilize the ”hug wall” with my dad several times before the home was actually re-opened to visitors. We all appreciated this innovation. We found the caregivers and nursing staff to be warm and caring with my dad, and highly communicative with my mom and our family. I was happy with the activities they did with the residents, and the food was plentiful and nutritious. When my father deteriorated towards the end, the Tuscan Gardens staff took a team approach with a hospice organization to provide the most appropriate care possible, even enabling him to stay in the facility. I highly recommend Tuscan Gardens if you have a loved one needing memory care.

“Tuscan Gardens of Delray Beach is a wonderful place for seniors to live. We moved my mom in and she loves it. The staff cannot do enough to help and are extremely nice. I feel that she is getting great care and I don't have to worry about her. I recommend Tuscan Gardens if you are looking for a senior facility.

“I would like to thank every one of you who put this parade together as it was the 1st time I could see my mom in 8 weeks. McKenzie, thank you for the notification call and much love and thanks to the whole staff including Mom’s caregivers, Terri and Sabrina, for making mom look as beautiful as ever. I am forever grateful.

“Not only is the building beautiful, but so is the entire staff. The food is delicious and there is always some type of activity to attend. An absolute wonderful place to receive the assistance you need and keep your independence at the same time.

“Beautiful community! Very clean and the staff were very friendly. They actually have a real pizza oven! It's more like a five star resort than an assisted living.
